Sheryl Glubok

Sheryl Glubok is a Director at Pinetum Partners and brings to the firm extensive recruiting experience across industries, from venture backed technology startups in Silicon Valley to senior financial services executives for hedge funds, investment banks and other securities firms. For the past several years, Sheryl has been working exclusively on hedge fund searches, gaining valuable industry knowledge and contacts to assist Pinetum Partners in developing their deep market penetration in the hedge fund sector.

Sheryl received her BA from Stanford University in International Relations and has a MFA in Creative Writing from the Writing Seminars at Bennington College. She began recruiting in 1999, with The Pacific Firm, a boutique search firm in Berkeley, CA, placing senior executives as a Managing Director. She also worked with Argoquest Holdings, a venture capital firm that introduced early-stage Israeli companies to US and Asian markets, as the Managing Director of Recruiting and Business Development. Supporting the firm’s wireless portfolio, she recruited senior finance, marketing, and sales management as well as developed strategic relationships with key corporate partners such as Microsoft, Compaq, and Nokia.

In 2001 Sheryl and her husband moved to Burlington, VT where she continued to work for E-Pen InMotion, an Argoquest portfolio company, before joining Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, a wireless medical software company, as a Project Manager. Sheryl has served as a search consultant for Sandy Gross since her tenure at Amaranth and is pleased to be working with Pinetum Partners.
